The estimated cost for a full eBike battery charge (120 km, charging time 4 hours) is also about 28 cents. The actual costs depend on the electricity tariff of your electricity supplier.
The eBike can be connected to the charger at any time. This will not damage the battery.
The branding can be used for up to seven years, is weatherproof and has a UV protection laminate.
SHARE conntect: Intelligent, SHARE conntect eBikes are connected to the digital world. The eBike communicates via Bluetooth or the cloud with the smartphone and fleet software. Modern technology with additional features make eBiking very easy: Theft protection with alarm and GPS tracking, remote diagnosis, live support, comprehensive eBike information directly on the smartphone such as battery status, mileage, remaining range and much more.

The eBike is equipped with a mudguard on the front and rear wheel. A headlight at the front and a rear light make the eBike roadworthy. Drink holders are optionally bookable.
A) The eBike must have been properly locked.
B) There must be a theft report.
C) The theft including the theft report must be reported to movelo immediately (max. 2 working days).
The charging time depends on the capacity of the battery. A completely empty PowerPack is fully charged in just 4.5 hours.
As a general rule, cold reduces the performance of the battery.
The maximum number of eBikes to rent depends on the availability. Generally no upper limit is defined. The minimum number of rented eBikes is two.
All movelo charging stations can be connected to a normal house power supply (16 Ampere / 250 Volt). The power connection is made by plugging the SCHUKO plug supplied into the socket provided by the customer.
The station is assembled by movelo in the course of delivery. The customer provides the fixed surface and the power connection (230V, 16 A). Special structural measures are not necessary.
The assembly of the loading beams is usually carried out by the customer. The loading beams can be easily and quickly fixed to a wall with mounting brackets. The suitability of the wall for installation must be clarified in advance by the customer.
The stations, loading beams and signs are delivered by movelo or a forwarding agent. The delivery date will be announced in writing at least two weeks before the start of the contract.
The location for the charging station is defined by the customer. The following site requirements must be met:
- Paved subsoil
- Internet connection (WLAN / mobile)
- House electricity connection (230 V / 16 A)
- weather protection
- For locations close to the outdoor area, an earthing fixed point must be provided.
The loading beams can be easily and quickly fixed to a wall with mounting brackets. The suitability of the wall for installation must be clarified in advance by the customer.
Basically, all bikes that can be locked with a standard shackle lock can be integrated into the system. The integration of eBikes into the charging station is usually possible for all models, but should be checked on a case-by-case basis.
The station (loading beam) is equipped with Bosch Standard Chargern 220-240 V for the Share connect eBike model. eBikes of comparable construction can be parked and loaded. eBikes with the same drive can be loaded.
If the branding is not already included in the offer, we will be happy to make you an offer for the individual branding of your eBike fleet. The eBikes, the stations and the loading beams can be branded. An adaptation of the Smartphone-APP and Fleetsoftware to your individual Corporate Design is also possible.

The business logic can be docked to third-party systems using the REST API. On request, the API with documentation will be provided by movelo.
All users must register once for the eBike Sharing System. This registration is possible at any time. The activation of the registration takes place by an employee and is therefore dependent on the business hours of the operator.
The tariffs are set by the operator. movelo is happy to assist with advice.
The intervals between the individual revisions are contractually fixed in advance. Generally 6 weeks are recommended.
The revisions are carried out by the operator directly at the eBike station.
The APP can always be operated online. However, the lock can also be opened and closed in offline mode for active rentals. A rental can only be created, started and ended online.
What is a revision?
With the revision the operator movelo confirms the proper condition of the station and the eBikes. The revision is regulated by the fleet software. The aim of the revision is the comparison of the actual eBike conditions with the fleet software.
Damages below 100 EUR net are to be paid by the operator as a deductible.
The user reports a damage via the APP. The damage is checked by the contact person and then reported to movelo via the electronic repair form in the movelo partner area. movelo then takes care of the repair of the damage.
The claims handling runs via movelo or a movelo service partner. The respective service partner will be notified to the operator.
movelo will immediately initiate the repair of the damages reported by the operator. The downtime (period until the defective eBike is ready for use again) depends on the respective damage pattern:
- Kat. A, 3 working days: Repair on site by qualified personnel, only small parts are necessary.
- Kat. B, 4 working days: Repair in specialist workshop (service partner, service vehicle), spare parts required
- Kat. C, 10 working days: exchange of the eBike, replacement of the eBike in case of theft, total loss or costly spare parts such as engine necessary
When booking movelo Full-Service, transport to the service partner and back is always included.

If possible, the repair will be done directly at the station. For larger repairs, the repair is carried out in a specialist workshop of the respective movelo service partner.
Costs in case of damage over 100,- EUR net are covered by the movelo comprehensive insurance. In addition, the insurance covers the costs in case of vandalism and theft by presenting a police report of theft and properly locked eBike (SB 100€ net).
The customer has to carry out a revision in regular intervals (examination of the eBikes, small service works like e.g. refilling air).
Theft must be reported immediately to the police. The complete theft report is to be transmitted to movelo immediately in the following.
General and legal information
The number of eBikes / stations required depends on the intentions and use cases in a company - there is therefore no general answer to this question. We recommend to start with 5- 10 eBikes and to adapt the sharing solution again and again to the utilization. The fleet software offers an overview. An increase of the eBike number is recommended starting from an extent of utilization of approx. 80 per cent.
When booking the movelo Full Service a comprehensive insurance is included. The fully comprehensive insurance covers the damage to the eBikes (SB 100€). movelo assumes no liability for personal injury. The user is basically covered by his own liability insurance.
According to §1 paragraph 3 StVG, an eBike (pedelec) is considered a bicycle under traffic law and therefore there is no obligation to wear a helmet when using it. It is in the hands of each individual to decide for or against a helmet.
